Youtubers worth watching
List of favorite Youtube channels
I’m sorry I haven’t been posting lately. And I should have. I didn’t get the job I interviewed for. I got my permanent residency card a week after getting an update from USCIS. I’ve been practicing driving around in the neighborhood lately whenever my husband and I went out. I should’ve told you guys about it, but I procrastinated. I feel bad.
What makes me feel worse is that I am sick. My husband was sick for a couple of days and I got the sickness from him. Headaches and a clogged nose – it is not making me feel good. And so, I always turn to Youtube to make me feel better. So, here’s my list of youtubers that I love to watch (of course, in no particular order).
MARKIPLIER
Markiplier is the first youtube channel I have ever subscribe too. Being an immigrant in the US and feeling lonely gets me really depressed sometimes. And, for some reason, watching Markiplier playing games and seeing his reactions, makes me laugh so hard I just don’t have the time to be depressed anymore. I think he’s such an amazing guy (he has donated A LOT to charity and that’s really saying something). He mostly plays scary video games and/or indie games and his channel is really worth subscribing to.
IT’SJUDYTIME
I have always felt that subscribing to beauty youtube vlogs are just not my thing because I can’t understand the things they do sometimes and I’m not that much of a beauty product lover (I don’t know anything about make ups and whatnot) and most beauty youtube channels have youtubers who aren’t even close to my face/skin type that their reviews with products that are okay with me are of no use to me. It was my sister who told me I should subscribe to Judy’s channel since she’s a Filipina and finally, she’s someone who I have a close skin type/color to and I do feel the products she reviews are products I can actually work with. She reviews a lot of beauty products and her reviews are, I believe, honest reviews and she’s convincing enough for me to actually try those products (maybe after I find a job, then I could splurge a little bit on the make up products she has reviewed.)
IT’SJUDY’SLIFE
Okay. I got really into Judy’s beauty channel and so I got curious with her other channel, mostly devoted on daily vlogs with her family (her husband BenjiManTV and their first child Julianna). The videos are funny and informative (they do review products which their family uses) and it does make me relate to them because Judy’s a Filipina and the things she does and says makes me feel like I have a fellow Filipina out there somewhere (does that sound weird? lololol) They are now expecting their twins sometime this year.
ELLIE AND JARED
(I wanted to link their other video of them finding out the pregnancy result but it says I can’t embed that specific video). This two are adorable. Such an adorable couple. Their video channel on youtube was dedicated to their infertility journey and I stumbled on their video of them finding out that they’re pregnant after so many years of trying. I got emotional in that video. And now, it’s such a nice video channel to subscribe to to watch them finally become parents.
JAMIE AND NIKKI
Such a good looking interracial couple oh my goodness! I first watched their video of Jamie proposing to Nikki and I got hooked ever since. (I love their accents too.) My husband and I are in an interracial marriage too and it’s so awesome to see a couple like them.
ARGLEFUMPH
I have always loved the Nancy Drew Books, and when I got a hold of the information that there were actually games for it, I was ecstatic. I can’t buy the games as of the moment (still jobless ugh). And so the closest thing for me is to watch walkthrough. And Arglefumph has the best reviews and walkthrough for the Nancy Drew Game. So whenever Her Interactive (the company that produces the Nancy Drew games), I would always wait for Arglefumph to post his blind playthroughs.
Yep, my interests just varies with my youtube subscriptions but all these channels just make me happy by watching them. Surprisingly, the notion of creating a youtube channel with my husband seems welcoming since we can use it to promote his novel (or our journey in having it published) so who knows? Maybe within the year, we can make it work. I hope this post made you a subscriber of these awesome youtube channels.
